Merry Christmas to All!

I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. Korin had to work that night so we didn't get to spend the evening together but we still had a wonderful Christmas. I woke up at five and couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and watched A Christmas Story which, by the way, is the best Christmas movie ever next to Muppets Christmas Carol. Anyway, Korin got up at about 8:00 and woke Liz up to a horrible rendition of Jingle Bells. She couldn't understand why she got to touch the presents when for the month previous I kept telling her she couldn't. She got the hang of it however and enjoyed tearing the paper apart.

Happy Birthday Lizard!

We celebrated Lizzy's first birthday in Novemeber with all her family. She was so tired but enjoyed her cake none-the-less.

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween I dressed up because I was teaching in an elementary school. I thought the kids would enjoy it. Well, little did I know, that night we were getting together with some friends of ours to play cards. Everyone else looked normal. I however, looked like night of the living dead. Oh well. We still had a lot of fun. For those of you wondering what I was supposed to be, I was a mad scientist.

Isn't our little Liz so cute. I asked Korin what he was supposed to be and he said that he was an undercover cop investigating me, the mad scientist, for turning babies into cows. Clever huh?

Hope you all had a great Halloween!!

We finally got family pictures taken. Here are a few. Just an update on Lizard, she will be 1 year old on November 25th. I can't believe it!! Despite my best efforts to shrink her, she keeps growing.

Rest and Relaxation.... and duct tape

So, I would just like to say that this post was supposed to contain lots of a really neat-o pictures from me and Korins trip to Island Park. However, I forgot my camera. Nice Job. Anyway, we rode horses in Harriman and got to hear the elk bugling. I love horses. One day I hope to convice Korin to sell his car or kidney and buy me one. Then we stayed at a cabin in Macks Inn. Wow! That was some experience. The only form of heat was a space heater that kept turning off ever minute or two, the windows had duct tape on them to repair the cracks and the door was so loose that you could take it off its hinges with the lock fastened. We still had fun though. The next day we went up to Yellowstone. It was gorgeous up there with all of the fall colors. Next year I will remember my camera!!

These pictures are from last year in September when Korin graduated from the POST acadamey. He is a sheriff deputy for Jefferson County. I was 7 months pregnant at the time so Lizzy was able to attend...she just doesn't remember it.

Assume the sleeping position

I went to wake Liz up for the morning and
found her with her rump sticking straight up
in the air. What a cute rump it is!!
